Specifications

ADS favours the ‘Warmer Room’ insulated timber pod for their use of premium insulation. These insulated garden rooms have a honeycomb structure to keep your garden building cool during the summer and retain heat during the winter. You have a comfortable outdoor room that is usable all year round. Thermal performance can be enhanced further by adding your own insulated plasterboard to internal walls.

The carcass structure is made using timber from sustainable sources. Each tree has been allowed to grow for 120 years before it is harvested. This slow growing process ensures a premium grade wood finish.

Technical Support

We offer the entire carcass kit, supplied and installed. If you require help with planning we can offer technical support with all garden rooms, helping to put your mind at ease and ensuing the installation runs smooth from start to finish.

Our skilled fitters will install the entire system in a timely and professional manner. ADS is an approved supplier and installer of the ‘Warmer Room’ insulated timber pod – a modular pre-fabricated system that dramatically speeds up installation time. Disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.

Using a Garden Room For A Garden Office

Do I need planning permission for a garden office?

You don’t usually need to get planning permission for outbuildings being used as a garden office. Local authorities in the UK will allow detached outbuildings measuring up to 2.5 metres externally. Also, as long as the room is not to be used for sleeping and the floor area doesn’t exceed 15 square metres, then planning permission is not usually required. The only time you would need permission was if you lived in a listed building. However, it is always better to check with your local authority first. Visit Planning Portal for further information.

Do You Need Financial Help?
