An automated door is usually connected to electrical devices, such as electric locks and exit devices. This means there a lot of cables to contend with. A door loop is a flexible piece of metal hose that connects between the frame and the door leaf itself. It is a great cable management accessory that conceals unsightly wires from view. Not only this, but an extra wide door loop can house more wires (or thicker cables) than usual. An extra wide door loop can insulate and protect your cables from damage, making sure your automated door functions how it should do.
This extra wide door loop will house many more wires and cables than usual. A standard door loop usually has an internal diameter of around 9 mm. Our extra wide door loop has an inside diameter of 16 mm. Almost double the amount of cables and easier to fit than other cable management accessories!
