An automatic window operator is a mechanical device for opening and closing casement windows. It is ideal for people who have difficulty locking and unlocking windows. Opening hard-to-reach windows, such as roof lights, can be easily done with a switch. The operator can be installed on many types of windows, including casement windows, tilt & turn, and roof lights (as mentioned earlier).
The operational part of the automatic window opener is referred to as an ‘actuator’. It can be controlled in several ways. A standard fitting of a window actuator includes a remote control unit or a wall switch (see our section on Wall Switches to view the various options). Additionally, as an optional extra, we can integrate a window actuator with a Tahoma Interface (smartphone control) or an Alexa Speaker (voice control). We can provide a suitable window automation solution for customers with individual requirements.
From a security aspect, an automatic window operator is particularly safe, as it utilises more than one billion combination codes.
